Why do I love you

Why do I love you?
because you brought back to me
the treasure of my youth
I had hidden its key, somewhere..

Then it was forgotten and lost.

How could you find it?

Mother

How did you know I needed you
this raining day,
when I feel I miss something,
you're coming to me
with your endless love
with your gracious thought,
with your healing strength,
giving me your big world,
inside of which I become a little girl,
licking my tears and smiling again,
My mom gets the Sun out
and stops for me the rain.

Torn

Torn
between the past and the present,

Torn
between East and West

I don't know any more,
where is my home
and where I am a guest.

Until

© 2006 Albana Lifschin

Darling, this year don't look at me,
trying to figure out where did my smile go
Don't wonder where my desire went
Everything faded away from a long wait...

Now, running after money I got lost,
and don't have time to get back to who I was,
My life is on hold, until I think of you again,
while missing my bus and confusing the train..
